In February 2024, during her residency in Finland, Kaiyen created the photography series 0 / 1, inspired by the Finnish saying Jumalan selän takana (Behind God's back), which refers to a desolate, remote place.

 

The series employs expansive white space and minimalistic lines to reveal the hidden gifts within desolation. Merging existential contemplation with the purity of essentialism, the black-and-white images explore the spiritual dimensions of nature.
